You should be able to view the live stream without installing any additional software or doing anything special. If you are experiencing any issues watching the webcast, please read the problems and solutions below.


Minimum Technical Requirements


Latest version of Adobe Flash player

Internet Explorer 8.0 or above, Firefox 2.0 or above, or Safari 3.0, or Chrome 4.0 or above

Microsoft Windows XP SP2, Microsoft Windows Vista, Macintosh OS X v10.4 or above, or Linux

256 megabytes (MB) of RAM – 512 MB recommended

JavaScript and Cookies must also be enabled.

Super VGA (800 x 600) or higher resolution

16-bit sound card



Internet Connection Speed

For a reliable viewing experience at medium quality we recommend a downstream connection speed of at least 700Kbps.

Viewers can select a higher (up to 2Mbps for HD) or lower (198Kbps for low) video quality on the player depending on the connection speed.  You can test your connection speed here we recommend testing several times as bandwidth can fluctuate.

Having troubles viewing the webcast?

Try watching at a lower quality

If you are watching on a laptop / desktop computer, you can manually adjust the bitrate you are watching.  If you are currently watching on the “High Quality”, try “Medium Quality” or “Low Quality”.


Check that streaming content is not blocked by an ad-blocker, firewall, or being filtered on your local network

Particularly if you are watching at a school or in a corporate environment, it is possible that a firewall or content filter is blocking streaming content.


Install and Update Adobe Flash

Go here and follow the steps outlined on that page to make sure that you have an up to date version of Adobe Flash Player installed.

Check Internet Connection and Bandwidth

You can only watch a live stream if you have a consistent internet connection. We recommend viewing on the best possible connection you can find. You can run a speedtest here to determine your download speed. It can be helpful to run the test several times to see if you are getting consistent download speeds.


Check Computer Resources

We recommend shutting down all other applications and browser tabs / windows while broadcasting and viewing if you are experiencing playback problems.
